PMU-B Hosts the 1st PMU-B Generative AI Consortium Networking Seminar and Meeting for Fiscal Year 2024

The Program Management Unit for Human Resources and Institutional Development, Research and Innovation (PMU-B) organized the 1st PMU-B Generative AI Consortium Networking Seminar and Meeting for Fiscal Year 2024, held from August 8–9, 2024, at Duangjitt Resort & Spa, Phuket Province.

The event served as a platform for researchers, academics, and AI practitioners to exchange ideas, build networks, and explore collaborative opportunities in the rapidly evolving field of Generative AI, with the goal of fostering innovation and contributing to Thailand's future technological development.



This conference was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Supot Hannongbua, Advisor to the National Subcommittee on Frontier Research, who presided over the opening ceremony. He was joined by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirinan Kulchat, Deputy Director of PMU-B, along with a distinguished group of experts, including:

  • Professor Dr. Prapas Chongstitvatana

  • Dr. Parktada Treeratapitak

  • Dr. Monsak Socharoentum

  • Mr. Jirawut Kanokarun

  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rina Patramanon (Agile Team, Frontier Technology)

  • Ms. Jaturaporn Chokphukiaw (Agile Team SHA, Coding/AI)

Also in attendance were PMU-B senior analysts — Mr. Jakkraphan Sakornchaicharoen, Dr. Chidchanok Anuttarakulchai, and Dr. Rattikan Noitem — as well as a large number of project researchers from across the country. The event also welcomed human capital and innovation development experts from both domestic and international institutions.


Event Highlights:

The program featured panel discussions and the presentation of several high-potential research projects, focusing on:

  • Human resource development in AI, Coding, and Robotics.

  • Strengthening public-private partnerships through research and innovation.

  • Experience sharing and collaborative dialogue to build effective working networks.
