The “Development of Mechanisms for Building and Sustaining High-Quality Research Personnel” Project (Thailand Postdoctoral/Postgraduate System of Thailand) is a national platform designed to advance the development of highly skilled human capital. It aims to meet the needs of both the industrial sector (Industrial Postgraduates/Postdocs) and the country’s frontier research and innovation agenda (Frontier Postgraduates/Postdocs).

The program includes a total of 30 sub-projects, led by mentor researchers and involving postgraduates and postdoctoral researchers in key strategic areas such as High Energy Physics and Plasma, Quantum Technology, Frontier BCG, S-Curves/New S-Curve Industries, and Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities (SHA).

Among these, 12 sub-projects are supervised by researchers from Khon Kaen University, primarily in the Frontier BCG and SHA domains. Khon Kaen University demonstrates strong leadership in these fields, with the potential to further translate academic excellence into economic value, particularly in the areas of bioeconomy, medical hub development, and the creative economy.
