PMU-B Cluster Supports Human Capital and Research Development in Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts at “Isan Fashion: Soft Power to the Global Stage”

Ms. Jaturaporn Chokphukhiow, Chair of the Frontier SHA/AI Cluster (PMU-B),delivered remarks on the direction of research in social sciences, humanities, and arts as a driver of soft power through the creative economy, emphasizing the importance of promoting Thainess on the global stage.

Following that, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rina Patramanon, Chair of the Frontier Technology Cluster,highlighted strategies for elevating fashion into a creative industry, linking cultural expression with innovation and economic growth.

The event also featured a presentation of the research project "Film: Khon Kaen as the City of Film — From Isan to the World", led byAssoc. Prof. Dr. Niyom Wongphongkham (Principal Investigator) and Asst. Prof. Dr. Preecha Sakorn.

This initiative to develop human capital and research in social sciences, humanities, and the arts—under the theme"Fashion: Isan Soft Power to the Global Stage"—marks a significant step toward promoting and elevating Isan art and culture to international recognition.
